ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan Jakarta is currently looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor who is highly experienced in FB Management, focused on Guest Satisfaction, and familiar with Hotel FB Business Processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant & Bar Manager in attaining and fulfil the duties listed
- Report the state of the uniforms, neat, clean, and ready to work.
- Is in charge of the outlet(s) in the absence of the Restaurant & Bar Manager.
- Responsible for an efficient and smooth service of each item served in the outlet.
- Help in the seating of the guests.
- Check menus for cleanliness, accuracy, number, etc
- Prepare and place inserts (daily specials) in the menus.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, daily, of all Food and Beverage areas in the hotel.
- Control the stock stored in the F&B outlets area.
- Take and maintain records of reservations.
- Prepare menu displays and other displays.
- Care of the equipment, operating equipment, and small wares in the outlets do regular inventory liaise together with the Chief Steward.
- Assist with the maintenance of a clean and orderly environment in the outlet.
- Observe the physical condition of all equipment daily, writing work orders and following up with the maintenance department on repairs.
- Ensure that breakage, pilferage, and spoilage are kept to a bare minimum in every outlet operation.
- Participate and assist in monthly bar stock inventories conducted by the Cost Control Accountant.
- Ensure scheduling of the staff, pre-shift briefing, attendances are on line daily.
- Ensure that the employees follow proper procedures with respect to hygiene, safety, and maintain compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Ensure that staff are properly groomed and attired, including proper and complete uniforms with the nametags.
- Ensure that hotel and company policies and standards are implemented and closely monitored.
- Ensure operating hours are maintained according to standards set.
- Ensure that alcoholic beverage services follow precisely the scope of all laws, including those with respect to non-service to intoxicated clients.
- Assure that staff members are fully informed with respect to all menu items, preparation, ingredients, and service.
- Assist the Restaurant & Bar Manager in the administration of a training program for all outlet staff.
- Is fully prepared for fire alarms, bomb threat procedures, and other safety requirements including the provision of emergency medical assistance. Ensure that staff is adequately trained for these procedures. Is familiar with the location of, and how to control, the supply of water, electricity, and gas in case of an emergency. Is familiar with the location of, and how to use, fire-extinguishing equipment.
- Ensure and monitor the Food & Beverage costs of the outlet, and take necessary action to decrease the expenses of the outlet.
- In addition, to have strong teamwork, ready for any assignment in other F&B Areas.
Qualifications
- Degree in vocational hospitality minimum. Hospitality school diploma III/IV G.E.D. equivalent
- Food & beverage and/or anyone eager to work in the sector regardless of their educational background.
- Fluent in English and Good Communication Skills.

- Confident speaking skills
- Work well under pressure
- Mature, Dependability
- 2 - 3 years experience in a similar position in F&B Department
