Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support Xendit’s finance operations in Thailand. This role is open to ambitious fresh graduates and early-career professionals who will work closely with the TH finance team and regional stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting, compliance, and strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Verify invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy and legitimacy.
  • Prepare and file monthly tax returns, including Withholding Tax (P.N.D. 3, 53), Value Added Tax (P.P. 30), and Social Security Fund (SSF) submissions.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate ledger discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations, including clearing accounts, accruals, prepayments, intercompany balances, and control accounts, ensuring all reconciling items are identified, investigated, and resolved timely.
  • Assist senior accountants in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and tracking fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and local authorities (such as the Revenue Department) regarding financial documentation.
  • Support statutory reporting and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Assist in intercompany reconciliations and cross-border transaction accounting.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and FinOps teams to support financial reporting needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; previous internship or experience in AP is a plus).
  • Fluency in Thai is required; a good command of spoken and written English is a strong advantage (helpful for collaborating with regional stakeholders).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Basic understanding of Thai Tax Laws and Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).
  • High attention to detail, a strong ownership mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.
  • Knowledge of the NetSuite ERP system is a plus.
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed.
