Procurement Management:

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and services required for solar projects.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving issues promptly.

Logistics and Warehousing:

  • Coordinate transportation, shipments, and deliveries to project sites.
  • Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.

Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Streamline supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements and forecast demand.
  • Implement inventory control strategies to minimize waste and maximize utilization.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics activities, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
  • Generate regular reports to analyse procurement and logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain high-quality standards for materials and products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or warehousing, preferably in the renewable energy industry focusing on Solar Projects.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of solar photovoltaic technology and materials is a plus.
