Procurement Management:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and services required for solar projects.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving issues promptly.
Logistics and Warehousing:
- Coordinate transportation, shipments, and deliveries to project sites.
- Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.
Supply Chain Optimization:
- Streamline supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements and forecast demand.
- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize waste and maximize utilization.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics activities, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
- Generate regular reports to analyse procurement and logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain high-quality standards for materials and products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or warehousing, preferably in the renewable energy industry focusing on Solar Projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of solar photovoltaic technology and materials is a plus.
