We are currently looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team and help us as we transform the creator economy in Indonesia.
Compensation would be base salary plus commission.
This is an early business development hire for an early-stage startup. This is a hybrid role that will encompass several different aspects of our business as we grow, including outbound and inbound B2B leads.

Measures of Success:
In three months:
- You’ll understand our brand and our short-term and long-term goals.
- Develop business development priorities and streamline our internal process.
- Create a targeted list of brands, creators, and partners to reach out to.
- Drive top funnel leads for senior management to close.
In six months:
- We’ll have a seamless process to identify opportunities and reach out to targets .
- Your success rate of outreach to leads increases (KPI to be discussed)
- You will start to shape our business development strategy.
- You will start to close smaller deals (definition will be stated) and continue to learn for bigger deals.
In 12 months:
- You will drive our business development efforts.
- You’ll initiate new initiatives to the executive team.
- Communicate business development initiatives clearly to all stakeholders.
- You’ll be in a position to train and manage new hires.
- Overall BD KPIs and individual BD KPIs will be set by you.
- Understand and develop growth drivers for our product lines.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Work directly with the COO on business development initiatives.
- Comfortable with change and able to adapt to a quickly changing work environment.
- Understand the creator economy and the needs of content creators and brands.
- Communicate directly with content creators, brands, and agencies.
- Drive business development growth, across multiple product categories. .
- Track and report on business development KPIs.
What you’ll need:
- 2-4 years of sales or business development experience.
- Entry level sales/BD capabilities (i.e. basic terminology and concepts are already understood)
- Proactive and independent attitude. We are a remote team and cannot hold your hand.
- Amateur content creator experience (i.e. personal TikTok, YouTube, Podcast, Instagram)
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Be familiar with business development tools like Google Spreadsheets, Asana, Salesforce, etc.
- Bi-lingual preferred, conversational English is a must.
